Shoulder instability occurs when the shoulder joint dislocates or subluxates repeatedly, often resulting from sports injuries, trauma, or anatomical variations. Dr. Laric offers comprehensive treatment for selected cases of shoulder instability, including arthroscopic stabilisation procedures such as Bankart repairs and capsular shifts. These minimally invasive techniques restore the normal anatomy of the shoulder joint by repairing torn ligaments and tightening stretched joint capsules. For complex cases involving significant bone loss, open procedures may be necessary. The treatment approach is individualised based on the patient's age, activity level, and specific anatomical findings to provide long-lasting stability and confidence in shoulder function.
